After criticism of a paid Caribbean cruise at the end of November, Bundestag Vice President Wolfgang Kubicki announced that he would inform Parliament about the details. Kubicki, who is also vice-chairman of the FDP, was on board the cruise ship MS Europe 2 appeared on a talk show hosted by former star presenter Sabine Christiansen to talk about his book “Say what’s going on”. According to his own information, Kubicki concluded a corresponding contract in February 2023. Accordingly, no fee was provided for the actual two-hour appearance on board the cruise ship. However, the travel costs for Kubicki and his wife Annette were covered. The costs vary depending on the trip, cabin and extras. For a couple, including flights, they are approaching around the 10,000 euro mark.
