A wolf was run over on Autobahn 9 in the Nürnberger Land district. The dead animal was found on Sunday morning near a parking lot near Schnaittach, the police said on Monday.
The wolf was probably hit by a car while crossing the highway. According to police statements, the person responsible has not come forward for the time being.
