A wolf was hit and killed by a vehicle on Autobahn 93. A 37-year-old driver told officers on Friday that he had driven over a dead animal near Nabburg (Schwandorf district), as the police announced on Monday. The police eventually determined that it was a wolf. The animal was apparently previously hit by an unknown vehicle.
Just over a week ago, a wolf was killed in a traffic accident on the A 93 around 20 kilometers south. According to initial estimates, this was a male cub born in 2023.
