Ingo Lenssen has dressed appropriately for the visit to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the home arena of the Eisbären Berlin. It’s February 17th and the game against the Frankfurter Löwen starts in half an hour. Lenßen takes off his jacket, it’s warm in the VIP area of the arena. He pirouettes on his polished leather shoes and points to his sweater: The logos of the six founding clubs of the American professional ice hockey league are embroidered on it. He’s a big fan, and he wants to show that with his sweater.
