The sketch has already been viewed more than 20 million times on the the show Pro Hour broadcast on CNews, which apparently made Internet users laugh a lot.
In this parody of around fifteen minutes entitled “L’Heure de trop”, the 34-year-old actor makes fun of several personalities, including Pascal Praud (renamed Patrick Traud), the emblematic presenter of the CNews show which is regularly the subject of controversy, the imam of Drancy Hassen Chalghoumi (Larsen Harbouniou, imam of Nancy) or the journalist Élisabeth Levy, director of Talker and regular on CNews sets (Vivianne Bouchard, director of the magazine “Bleu Blanc Rouge”).
“16 minutes of crazy laughter”
The show starts with a song by Michel Sardou on the soundtrack: “Nothing like catchy music to start with, no offense to the annoying people,” says presenter Patrick Traud, red glasses on the end of his nose, before to address several topics. “Is the djellaba a religious garment? » or even “A police officer attacked in a high school: should students be banned? » ask the guests on set.
Winks and punchlines flow throughout this sketch to make fun of the debates often considered controversial which may have taken place on the set of this show, broadcast every morning on CNews. “Thank you for this moment” or even “16 minutes of crazy laughter… just by seeing the beginning, we already knew that it was a masterclass”, wrote certain Internet users, for whom “the caricature is ultimately very close to reality “.
A parody to promote his next show
But the enthusiasm for this parody of Pascal Praud’s show is mainly explained by the caricature character of Hassen Chalghoumi, the imam of Drancy, played in the sketch by Malik Bentalha himself. “I would like to give a big kiss to the President of the Republic that I love him very much with his ministers that they fight every day against Islam,” declares the false imam Larsen Harbouniou, “double Olympic medalist of Islam”, and author of the book “Les Musulmans Stop”.
Beyond the desire to make fun of the CNews show, the comedian wanted to send a message to all his fans. At one point during the sketch, a telephone number appears when one of the guests speaks, AbdelKader Ziani, a Harvard graduate, who tries to defend an Islam of “peace and love”. By calling this number, we come across the voicemail of Imam Harbouni, who is none other than the famous comedian, who then announces his big return to the stage, with a third show.
