Wirecard process: More trouble just before Christmas – economy

Markus Födisch held out until day four, then he lost his composure for a moment. The presiding judge in the Wirecard proceedings was always long-suffering when the defense attorneys raked in the docks again: Alfred Dierlamm for ex-company boss Markus Braun against Florian Eder for his client, the former Dubai governor and today’s key witness Oliver Bellenhaus. Even before the trial began, it was a duel. In the meantime, however, both lawyers seem to be taking the matter personally. On Wednesday morning they are apparently out for a fight.
