The actual goal, so much in advance before the start of this long toboggan safari, will not be reached in the end, but that doesn’t matter. Perhaps the plan was just a bit too ambitious: with the toboggan from Mieders at the entrance to the Stubai Valley across to Italy, to the border town of Brennero, 28 kilometers further south by car, at least. Perhaps, according to the original idea, after one night it could even go a little further, to Sterzing or at least Gossensass.
