Winter in Ebersberg: be careful, danger of ice! – Ebersberg

It would have been almost too good to be true: a white Christmas in the district of Ebersberg. But with the slowly rising temperatures, the white winter splendor is slowly fading away from the landscape of the district. The meadows and hills lay gently covered in white snow. But according to the weather forecast, it will be warmer again this week, just in time for the solstice. The thermometer should show up to twelve degrees by the end of the week and thus during the Christmas holidays. Again and again: wind, rain and danger of ice.

The signs were still so good until a few days ago. Winter showed itself from its most beautiful side. People met under a blue sky for tobogganing, skiing and at the mulled wine stand at the Christmas market they raved about how nice it all was. Back when there was a white Christmas. No war. No crisis. No climate change. The Staade time is always a nostalgic time. And this year once again a time when the white snow turns into gray mud and the winter jacket into the raincoat. Therefore, caution is advised in the coming days. In the early morning hours, as well as in the evening and at night, the melted snow can turn into black ice.
