The Galaxy S23+ is a large format alternative to the Galaxy S23. Samsung equips its smartphone with a larger battery and a larger screen, for unchanged overall performance, and just as satisfactory.
The Galaxy S23+ is, like the Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra, a successful smartphone. It is equipped with a mastered screen, a powerful chip and a complete photo component, despite some imperfections. Added to this is solid autonomy and charging which could certainly have been faster, but which is sufficient for everyday use. In short, Samsung delivers to fans of large mobiles a high-performance and complete smartphone, of which we appreciate both the small refinements (its IP68 certification, for example) and the compatibility with four years of software updates.
Strong points
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 performance.

- Good autonomy.
Weak points
- Wide-angle exposure of the photos.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).
Alternatively
Samsung’s previous Galaxy Ultras were able to convince us, but not fully. It is quite different for the 2023 vintage which finally reaches the top of the range, perfectly complete and pleasant in all situations. We can obviously criticize this Galaxy 23 Ultra for a photo part that is oddly quite behind on certain points, but nothing that cannot be corrected by a subsequent update. As it stands, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can once again claim its place as king of premium.
