The dilemma of some visitors to the Wiesn: the babbling, swaying neighbor on the bench is unbearable when you are sober. But what if the tasty Oktoberfest beer doesn’t taste good at all? Then the Weinzelt is the rescue.
Who says it always has to be beer at the Wiesn? In the wine tent there are more than 15 wines and various types of sparkling wine and champagne. There is no Oktoberfest beer – only wheat beer. Instead of sitting on beer benches, you sit or stand on chairs and benches with backrests. You can party here until one o’clock in the morning.
The wine tent is particularly popular with women. Visiting men are of course always welcome, after a glass they like to start flirting.
The hosts of the wine tent are the Kufflers. The culinary offer therefore benefits greatly from the Munich restaurants of the Kuffler Group, which provide the food in the tent.
The wine tent has a total of 2,500 seats inside and another 500 outside. There is also an extra smoking balcony.
