The following design ideas offer at least as much fun for young and old: Chalk pencils and Window Color. The former has the advantage that the window decoration for the winter can be attached just as easily as it can be wiped off. The liquid chalk in the pens sticks particularly well to smooth surfaces such as glass, so you can get creative with it. Alternatively, the removable window paints are particularly useful for creating your own pictures and then sticking them to the glass.

How to conjure up an autumn window decoration

When it comes to window decoration for the winter, the panes do not necessarily have to be decorated. The window sill is just as suitable. There you can, for example, set up decorative elements such as vases in cold blue tones to match the season. They act on their own, but can also be filled with decorative elements: artificial ones Magnolias or Branches, Flowering branches or Pussy willow add even more visual value to each vase.

Even if furniture stores are currently closed, there is an online opportunity to shop window decorations for the winter. Geometric shapes, reindeer heads, lamps and fruit bowls made of steel are particularly suitable for this, as they – despite the cold color – come into their own in the winter months. Especially when you are filled with “life” (read candles or fruit).

A classic in winter is the poinsettia, which adorns countless windows when it is cold and uncomfortable outside. Whether made of wood or paper does not matter – it is only important that the star contains a small LED lamp so that you can make it shine at any time when it gets dark. With this model, the light is even controlled via a remote control so that you can activate the light chain it contains from a distance.

Or you can make your own paper stars out of construction paper: There are also a variety of winter motifs that are ideal for decorative window pictures.
