Wild scenes! Patrick Mahomes freaks out after dramatic defeat against the Bills, Dallas dupes Philadelphia

Patrick Mahomes has never been seen like this! The quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs lost control in the dramatic 17:20 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in his home stadium and completely freaked out.

With one minute left, the reigning champion conjured up a play that would have gone down in NFL history as a brilliant play. Mahomes passed to Travis Kelce, who passed the ball directly to Kadarius Toney. He ran 49 yards into the end zone, making it 23:17 a few seconds before the end.

But then the referees intervened, threw a yellow flag and called the game back. The reason: Toney was a few centimeters too far forward at the start of the move and was therefore offside.

Mahomes blew his fuse after this decision. He freaked out on the sidelines, slammed his helmet on the ground and swore at the referees.

But that wasn’t enough: the playmaker had to be vigorously held back by several teammates in order not to attack the referees.

Mahomes completely freaks out after drama

When Mahomes congratulated his counterpart Josh Allen on the field, Mahomes could clearly be heard saying: “The wildest fucking whistle I’ve ever seen, man! This is just terrible.”

At the press conference he added: “I have played for seven years and have never seen such an offside. There was no warning throughout the game. And then you wait until there’s a minute left in the game to make a decision like that? That is hard. I am at a loss for words. Its hard.”

“Another game comes to an end and we talk about the referees. This is simply not what we want for the NFL and football. “It’s hard to swallow, taking something so great away,” he added.

His head coach Andy Reid also raged: “It’s a little embarrassing for the National Football League that something like this is happening.”

For the Chiefs it was the third defeat in the last four games. They now have a record of 7-5 and are just one win ahead of Denver in the AFC West. The Bills, on the other hand, are now 7:6 and have taken an important step towards the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the lead in the NFC East has changed. The Dallas Cowboys dismantled the Philadelphia Eagles 33:13 in the top game and thus moved past their rivals. Both are 10:3.

The Cowboys’ defense in particular dominated and the Eagles offense around star quarterback Jalen Hurts did not score a touchdown.

Only defender Jalen Carter carried a Dallas fumble 42 yards into the end zone. For the Texans, Dak Prescott shone once again with 271 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

For the Eagles it was the second clap in a row. Last week there was already 13:42 against the San Francisco 49ers.
