Nobody had the guts this time to step on the fun brake. But arguing about whether the Oktoberfest was a mistake without any protective regulations is of little use – considerations for the future are.

The fact that there would be more corona infections as a result of the Oktoberfest should come as no surprise – everyone accepted that with approval. But when you hear that the emergency admissions of the Munich clinics are about to collapse, you have to say that the effects have probably been severely underestimated.
