Andy Yen asks for a bare office in Zurich-West. A table, three chairs, and a screen on the floor that actually belongs on the wall. “It won’t stay that way, of course,” says Yen, “we’ve only just moved in.” The 33-year-old is the founder and head of Proton Technologies, the company founded in Switzerland in 2014 that operates the encrypted email service Protonmail. It is already the third office that the Proton people are moving into in Zurich – the company is growing that fast.
