What is slime hunting? A bird hunting technique that dates back to the dawn of time: it involves coating sticks with glue and placing them judiciously in the trees to trap the birds.
Why is it controversial? In fact, it is not controversial, it is banned, in Europe at least, even if five French departments are resisting and continue to allow it (not to kill these birds, but to attract bigger ones) . The problem is that the slime hunt attacks all birds, indiscriminately, and threat of this fact protected species and biodiversity.
