The Swiss sailing yacht cruised at the beginning of May Champagne in the Strait of Gibraltar off the coast of Spain when suddenly there was a loud rumble. “At first I thought we had rammed something,” reports Werner Schaufelberger, the skipper of the Champagnein the magazine yacht. “But then I quickly realized that it was orcas that were attacking the ship.”
