Why a construction project in the city center went bankrupt – Munich

It was supposed to be a chic office and commercial building with 13,400 square meters in downtown Munich, with a huge five-story underground car park underneath – “Muc One”, under which the Austrian real estate company Imfarr marketed its project at Adolf-Kolping-Straße 10, in in the immediate vicinity of the Stachus. But so far all that has been created is a huge excavation pit. Work has been on hold for months, and in February the Imfarr subsidiary Elements of Infrastructure, which was responsible for the project, went bankrupt. The reasons for this were not yet known.
