That’s how disparaging Donald Trump said about the young women in the Epstein scandal
Trump feared he could be drawn into Maxwell’s trial.

According to a new book by New York Times author Maggie Habermann, Donald Trump is said to have been concerned about Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial. He was not interested in the suffering of the underage victims of the pedophile Epstein.
After the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, Donald Trump is said to have been very concerned. “Did she say anything about me,” he is said to have asked his advisors, according to Maggie Haberman’s new book (Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America). In July 2020, he debated in the Oval Office whether Ghislaine Maxwell might have named him when she made insinuations about powerful people who would protect her. He is said to have said: “Do you have the article today in the [New York] Seen a post that mentioned me? Did she say something about me?”
In July 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges. A month later, he committed suicide in New York prison under mysterious circumstances. Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of British media entrepreneur Robert Maxwell, was arrested on July 2, 2020. She had long eluded prosecution and was tracked down in New Hampshire.
Alleged intelligence contacts
In the July 4, 2020 New York Post article, Steve Hoffenberg, an associate of Epstein, was quoted as saying: “Ghislaine thought she was untouchable – that she was being protected by the intelligence agencies that she and Jeffrey had been helping with information : the Israeli intelligence community and Les Wexner, who has donated millions to Israel; by Prince Andrew, President Clinton, and even President Trump, who was an acquaintance of both her and Epstein.”
That was of no use. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in July 2022. She and Epstein are considered pimps who addicted and systematically manipulated young girls into sexual exploitation and prostitution. But so far not a single “customer” of the sex ring has been charged. In the book, Haberman describes Trump’s whole life. His time as a businessman in New York, his campaign for president, and the years in the White House, Epstein is just one episode in it.
Donald Trump never stayed on the island
When Trump launched his campaign for the presidency, he is said to have met with the owner of the tabloid “National Enquirer” David Pecker. According to Habermann, Pecker brought a copy of the paper “that showed Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Jeffrey Epstein, the investor and convicted sex offender and former friend of Trump, with whom Trump had fallen out years earlier.” Pecker and Trump are said to have discussed Epstein’s private island, to which Epstein allegedly brought powerful men and young women for sexual relations. Epstein is said to have chosen the secluded island because the young girls could not escape from there. Trump called the place derogatory, Epstein’s “whore island” (whore island), but also said in the conversation that he had never been there himself.
Haberman also spoke to Trump’s former adviser, Sam Nunberg, about Trump’s biggest concern about the campaign. “Trump had a simple answer,” Haberman said. “‘The women. ‘Not the business, not the violence towards anyone,’ Nunberg recalled, but the women.”
In fact, more than 20 women have accused Trump of sexual harassment, misconduct or assault. Trump is said to have been particularly afraid of his wife’s reaction. According to Nunberg, Trump “pointed up towards the penthouse” where his wife, Melania, lived. Then Trump said, “I’m going to get in trouble up there.”
