She dreamed of landing a leading role. Appeared as a guest in an episode of Captain Marleau in 2021, Nolwenn Leroy will this time embody the main character of the new TF1 series entitled Broceliande. In this mini-series (6×52 minutes), directed by Bruno Garcia and produced by Shine and Les Films du Printemps, the Breton singer will play a recognized biologist who is caught up in her past.
Fifteen years after leaving his native Brittany after the disappearance of his best friend, his character returns there after receiving a bloody parcel and a letter accusing him of being responsible for the disappearance. On his return, a new woman disappears and she finds herself once again suspected.
Wanted fire-eaters or wrestlers
For the purposes of filming, which will take place between the end of April and the end of July in the forest of Brocéliande as well as in Rennes, the production is looking for extras residing in the sectors concerned. The casting announcement mentions several profiles sought: men and women aged 18 and over and of all origins, students, gendarmes and police officers, dog handlers, firefighters, nurses but also wrestlers from Gouren, fire-eaters and Breton music groups.
