Is it raining a million today? In “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Günther Jauch can finally ask the question of all questions again.

After more than a year and a half can Günther Jauch (67) on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” ask the million dollar question again. Whether candidate David Thelen (32) answers this correctly and emerges as the winner of the show can be seen this Monday (October 23rd) from 8:15 p.m. on RTL.

The last million-dollar question was in January 2022

Jauch quickly realizes that the dentist is a good candidate: “Who will stop this man?” asks the moderator. And actually – in today’s episode Thelen makes it to the million dollar question. “I can’t remember the last time we had a million-euro question,” says Günther Jauch. And it’s actually been a while: As the broadcaster reports, the last time the million-euro question was asked was in January 2022. At that time, candidate Timo Zang reached the top of the question catalog in the 3-million-euro event week. However, the teacher then decided on the safe 500,000 euros. The last million-dollar victory was even longer ago: On March 24th, Ronald Tenholt was able to answer all 15 questions correctly. Since 1999, only 16 candidates have achieved this.

So today it’s David Thelen’s turn. How he reacts to the million dollar question can also be seen in the live stream on RTL+ parallel to the TV broadcast.
