Not only the quiz questions, but also the personal stories of the guests have been part of “Who wants to be a millionaire?” for over 20 years. In the current episode, a candidate reported on her encounter with Naomi Campbell.
Who on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” lands on the guessing chair often has one or the other anecdote in store. So did Tina Krahne from Hamburg, who was a guest on the show on Monday evening. “My informants told me that you were spotted in Beverly Hills. Who were you looking for or meeting there?” Günther Jauch wanted to know about the candidate.
Krahne reported that she stopped at an Italian restaurant near Melrose Avenue. “People said to themselves that celebrities would be walking around there. Then I thought it wouldn’t hurt to take a look.” In fact, she saw designer Calvin Klein and musician Queen Latifah. The latter drove into the parking lot in a white Rolls-Royce convertible and entered the restaurant with a large entourage. “I was pretty flashed there,” said the Hamburg native and presenter Günther Jauch was also impressed.

Krahne saved the best story for last. “We were then led to the table. As I sat down, I noticed something hard under my butt. It was a cell phone.” As it turns out, the phone belonged to supermodel Naomi Campbell. “I thought at that moment that if I kept it, I would probably have a lot of numbers now,” recalled the candidate.
As an honest finder, she ran after Campbell and her manager to return the cell phone. “She just turned around and her manager took the phone,” reported Krahne. The model didn’t really say thank you. After the descriptions, Jauch said: “She’s a bitch, I’ve heard that quite often.”
Tina Krahne has earned 8,000 euros so far. In the next “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” episode, she will be seen again – and maybe she has more such stories up her sleeve.
