Tayc, Saweetie, Tiakola, Yamé, Jaden Smith… The list of artists who have trusted YouthSMHR is long. Originally from the 19th arrondissement in Paris, the young stylist has gone from a simple unknown in 2016 to today one of the big names in his field.
It was on August 1, 2016 that Youth Soumahoro, his real name, launched his brand SMHR. A unique collection, made from odds and ends, where Youth allows itself to dress its models sometimes with aluminum foil or sometimes with electric cables. Through persistence and work, the young stylist will achieve the holy grail, attracting the curiosity of journalists from Vogue.
Thanks to the interview he gave for the magazine, he was immediately propelled into the big leagues. The opportunity for him to do odd jobs in the United States before meeting, one thing leading to another, world-famous artists.
Currently preparing for the tour of the artist Yamé and the Bercy of Tayc and Dadju on February 16, Youth agreed to answer questions from 20 minutes.
