The former soldier, in service from 2011 to 2016, belonged to the Brive infantry regiment. Tall and athletic, he gave the gendarmes a hard time. The gendarme spoke of an individual animated by a “suicidal logic”.

Since the end of August, he was employed in CDI as a truck driver in a public works company in Dordogne and “we would never have suspected something like that”, told AFP the president of the company, who wants to remain anonymous. “He was a model employee, we have nothing to reproach him”, “someone exemplary, very calm, calm, polite, very respectful”, who “dialogued when we wanted to dialog”.
