Euro 2021 is June 11. And to enjoy it as comfortably as possible, with family or friends, a television set for the big show is necessary. This LCD LED model has a backlighting on 132 zones, a real highlight that increases the contrast. Another advantage: it adopts QLED technology. Based on Quantum Dot (or quantum dots), its panel incorporates nano crystals of different sizes which, when excited by light, emit a wavelength. The result is much more dynamic colors than with a simple LED television.
Dolby Vision for a more nuanced image, it is also Dolby Atmos for a more immersive sound (with compatible contents). This Android LCD TV has direct LED backlighting and a 100Hz panel. This is the ideal refresh rate for sports images. Unlike 50 Hz, 100 Hz avoids ghost traces behind moving objects, such as with a balloon. To go further in visual quality, this screen is HDR Dolby Vision and HDR 10 + compatible. On board, the manufacturer’s (unanimously praised) P5 processor ensures perfect image processing. Offering a beautiful agreement, a 2.1 sound system with a power of 50 watts is integrated.
For greater immersion, this TV is Ambilight on all four sides. Thanks to this system which displays the dominant colors in the image at the rear of the screen, the feeling of being part of the show is thus total. No doubt the opportunity, too, to hang it on the wall …

Under Google TV (the new operating system for televisions from the Mountain View firm), this OLED television can stand out. Extremely thin (0.6 mm), its 100 Hz panel has good brightness, but above all impressive contrasts, which offer absolutely perfect blacks.
On board, the new XR Cognitive processor optimizes the visual rendering according to so-called “focal” points, that is to say on the areas of the image where all eyes will focus… like the round ball! Difficult to appreciate the possible technical progress, remains that the image is here of an exemplary purity.
Once again, Sony has integrated its “Acoustic Surface” process into this screen, which eliminates the need for speakers. Vibrations in the slab transmit sound (30 watts). Good, but a sound bar will still do a lot better!
Small bonus: the remote control of this television has dedicated buttons to summon Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Disney +. Missing more than Apple TV!

You will hardly find better for your villa in Ibiza or your chalet in Courchevel! With the aptly named The Terrace, Samsung came up with the idea of a dedicated 4K QLED TV for the outdoors. No need to take it out of the living room for each game: IP55 certified, the device is resistant to rain, dust and even heat (up to + 50 ° C).
Its panel even has an anti-reflective system that will prevent you from seeing the barbecue reflect on the screen rather than the players chasing the ball. Like at the stadium! With its giant screen up to 85 inches (or 2.15 meters diagonal), this 8K television at the price of a small sedan (sold up to 11,000 euros in 85 ”) displays some 33 million pixels at the screen. For this, Samsung uses its Quantum Mini LED technology, based on LEDs forty times smaller than conventional LEDs. Offering an incomparable level of detail, the device also offers extremely bright images.
Admittedly, 8K (with a definition four times greater than 4K) is only valid here to offer a very large image which retains all these qualities. In the absence of 8K content (8K TNT will probably never exist…), the television transforms all viewed content into 8K. The results obtained are also quite astounding with the Full HD or 4K content upscaled in this way. It could also be interesting with streaming video games, a project that Netflix seems to cherish.
