When mayors end up in court – eight cases from Bavaria – Bavaria

Five and a half years in prison for a Bavarian mayor was the recent verdict from the Nuremberg-Fürth regional court. It is not legally binding. But is the impression that there is an increasing number of cases in which city hall bosses have to answer in court or at least come into conflict with the judiciary? And as different as the cases may be in the municipality of Seeg im Allgäu, in the large cities of Regensburg and Ingolstadt, the medium-sized towns of Neumarkt and Bamberg as well as in the small towns of Leutershausen, Zwiesel and Selbitz – are there perhaps parallels?
