However, if you google “sausage” and “definition”, the Internet only spits out meat interpretations, including those from the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety. According to this, “sausage is the general term for meat products that are made from a mixture of chopped meat, fatty tissue and seasoning ingredients” and so on.
