It’s D-Day for the most watched musical show of the year in Europe! The Eurovision 2022 final will take place on the stage of the Pala Alpitour in Turin (Italy). Here’s what you need to know to make the most of the event.
The show will be broadcast on France 2, live, from 9 p.m. Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern will provide commentary. If you can’t be in front of your TV, don’t panic, you can follow it on your phone via the official YouTube channel of Eurovision. And then, of course, you can also count on 20 minutes to make you experience the competition live.
- Who represents France?
The Breton quartet Alvan and Ahez will defend the tricolor chances with Fulenn, a song in Breton, mixing electro sounds with traditional singing. The scenography is one of the most impressive of the evening: fire, smoke, green light bathing the set in a mystical atmosphere… Get ready for a great show.
- When will France sing?
The French will be the sixth to go on stage, around 9:37 p.m. (time given as an indication). They will be preceded by the Swiss singer and the Norwegians will succeed them.
This year, the Ukrainians of Kalush Orchestra are given as the great favorites with their song Stefania. They will be on stage around 10:06 p.m. We will also have to keep an eye on the Italian duo, Mahmood and Blanco, who will sing at home around 9:54 p.m., just before the Spanish Chanel and her fiery choreography. The Swedish Cornelia Jakobs is expected around 10:43 p.m. with her ballad Hold Me Closer. The favorite of the author of these lines, the Briton Sam Ryder, will appear at 10:56 p.m. And the Serbian Konstrakta could create a surprise around 11:06 p.m. Our Belgian readers will be able to see their representative, Jérémie Makiese, sing Miss You at 10:24 p.m.
Here is the order in which the artists will perform on stage. The group We Are Domi, from the Czech Republic, will open the ball around 9:16 p.m…. You can download a sheet to write down your comments and assign your notes here.
