The Deutschland-Card, or D-Card, is looking for a suitable replacement supermarket after Edeka has left. The difficulty here: The loyalty program loses its largest customer with Edeka. The experts of the “Lebensmittel Zeitung” estimate Edeka’s share of the D-Card system at 90 percent.

The managing director of the D-Card, Detlev Rubant, is nevertheless “optimistic that there will be a new cooperation with a food retailer”. One is “currently in lively exchange” with various trading companies, he told the “Lebensmittel Zeitung”. Is there an exchange with Rossmann or even Aldi? Rubant did not provide any information on this.
