What was missing in Châtillon that Montrouge or Clamart had since 2018?

Châtillon had not taken the wheel of the Vélib in 2018. It is now done. The city has just opened three stations this week (at 1, rue de l’Avenir, at 19, avenue de la Division Leclerc and at 26, rue des Pierrettes). Châtillon joins Montrouge, Clamart or Bagneux – neighboring municipalities – in the peloton of towns in the Petite Couronne with self-service bicycles.

The new municipality, elected in 2020, made it a priority and hastened to launch technical studies and validate the arrival of 6 stations in total. The inauguration of the first three will take place on October 19 at the entrance to the Châtillon-Montrouge metro station. Three other stations are due to be opened shortly at 1, rue Béranger and at the end of October or early November at 21, allée Henri-Barbusse and at 1, rue Roland-Garros.
