What novelties await you for the second edition of the Rose Festival?

New headliners, a program spread over three days and more toilets… The Pink Festival put down, for the second time, his suitcases at the MEETT de Toulouse and intends to deliver an improved version of the 1.0 festival on September 1, 2 and 3.

Big Flo and Oli heard the comments following the very first edition of the Toulouse festival – which was also a real success. A major problem will therefore be solved: you will no longer have to wait so much to go to the toilet. “We added a lot of them! We only think of the toilets of the Rose festival ”, have fun the two Toulouse rappers. And for good reason, if 99% of the festival-goers questioned recommend the Rose Festival, the queues were their Achilles heel. “But we are only at the beginning, we can only improve. We listen to all the critics, ”adds the duo. Several food-truck corners will also prevent spectators from having to wait too long for food. A notable plus for a better experience. But these are – fortunately – not the only novelties…

More people for more concert

After the success of the first edition, the Rose Festival is expanding, making it possible to welcome 31,000 people per day instead of 25,000. The time slots are also changing, allowing more artists to perform on the two stages of the Rose Festival. Nine artists on Friday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., ten for Saturday at the same times and nine for Sunday, from 1.30 p.m. to midnight.

Festival-goers will be able to enjoy the big headliners, from pop to electro to rap. Tiakola, Hamza or even SCH… This year the program is, indeed, very rap with also rising figures like Khali and WarEnd. A desire of Big Flo and Oli to highlight young artists on the front of the stage. Also to discover, the two winners of the Tremplin Rose for a first edition which has already received 400 applications. A boost desired by the two young rappers, “who struggled before getting there”.

There will, however, be something for everyone, with Angèle, M83, as well as -M- and Woralks. “The goal is to please everyone”, explain Jean-Nicolas Baylet, of the Group The Midi DispatchSamuel Capus of Bleu Citron and the Ordoñez brothers, behind the creation of this great Toulouse festival.

A life-size tribute to the Pink City

In addition to the two musical stages, Festival-goers will be able to take advantage of improved decoration to pay even more homage to the Pink City. And who says homage to the Pink City says bars: 150 meters of counters are planned, with a “Saint-Pierre” and “Pont-Neuf” corner. The Ferris Wheel will be back as well as the graffiti wall. A world created around the music so that the spectators live to the rhythm of Toulouse and its identity. “We want to offer an experience that is not just musical. We want people to enter a particular and unique world, ”adds the organizers.

The childhood dream of the two Toulousians is gradually establishing itself as a reference in the event environment. The second edition has not even started, that the organizers are already preparing the next festivals with one watchword: always more and always better. And an anchored desire: to bring back international artists.
