It’s an unprecedented show that will be played tonight in the Toulouse sky. On the occasion of the europe daythis May 9, which commemorates the declaration of Robert Schuman, considered as the founding act of European construction, nearly 400 drones will light up the night.
Raising their heads, on the side of the island of Ramier, the inhabitants of the City will attend an aerial ballet staging in turn, European construction, the values of the European Union or the space program of the EU. A celebration that takes on its full meaning in the capital of aeronautics and kicks off several events which will mark out the whole month of May in the metropolis.
This “drone show”, visible within a radius of 2 km, will close the island to traffic, an area for spectators being planned on the banks of the Garonne, parallel to the avenue de Lattre de Tassigny.
