What happens to the students of the class of 2022?

After fourteen years of absence from TF1, the “Star Academy” reopened its doors last year. Over the course of six weeks of competition, viewers were able to get to know the thirteen candidates for the 2022 edition.

At the dawn of a new season, what has happened to these students since the final on November 26? For most of them, album, EP or single are indeed there after “Star Ac”.

Former students soon on stage

Winner of the show last year, Anisha Jo has already released two singles, You shine And Autumn. His first album, titled Light, accompanies the launch of the new telecrochet season with a release scheduled for November 3. Author-composer and performer, the singer declares on her Instagram account that this album “speaks of the stories of our doubts, of our sorrows, of the shadows of our lives, sometimes in despair, but it also speaks of this light which opens the eyes from our hearts, gives us the courage to continue, to see the beauty of what surrounds us and above all Love with a capital A which is unconditional. Anisha Jo will be on stage at the Café de la Danse in Paris on December 1st.

A few weeks ago, Louis Albi for his part revealed Cry of joy, a first album with “very personal” songs, he explained to 20 Minutes. As soon as he left the “Star Academy”, the finalist knew what he wanted. “Something true to myself, a certain elegance and a very pop side. Instrumentals on guitar, drums, a soaring American or English rock universe, Charlie Puth, Harry Styles… Vocal flights, lower and more intimate notes. I wanted to talk about myself, for this project to be personal, a presentation,” he said. Louis Albi will defend his first album on the stage of La Maroquinerie, in Paris, on November 14.

Of Complicated has Turn everything upside down

Second in the competition last year, Enola Cox delivered an EP at the end of August: Memory of a summer. This contains three titles for which she wrote the lyrics herself (Beautiful and sweet, I almost told you I love you, Memory of a summer). In June, she was on the bill at the Vachement Sonore festival, in Marigny-le-Lozon (Manche).

Ahcène chose November 3 to release an EP called Pass. “I confide in periods of my life that made me suffer but above all make me grow,” he mentions on Instagram.

As for singles, fans of finalist Léa Haddad will have to settle for just one track for the moment: Stronger, a song by Vitaa and Renaud Rebillaud. The same team – to which is added Kendji Girac – is hiding behind Complicated, Tiana’s first title. Just before summer, Stan Rittner revealed Who are you ? and Julien Canaby You have time. After signing with Sony Music France, Paola Perrin made the title available on all platforms Turn everything upside down. Finally, Cenzo Tuihani waited until October 6 to launch BLA bla.
