What is Vasil Hard Fork?
The Vasil Hard Fork is named after the late Bulgarian mathematician Vasil Dabov, a notorious community member. And as a contributor to Cardano, this upgrade is critical to the network. Its purpose is to increase scalability and overall usability.
Cardano Improvement Proposals (CIP) to be applied to hard forks include:
- CIP-31 (Reference Inputs)
- CIP-32 (Inline Datums)
- CIP-33 (Reference Scripts)
- CIP-40 (Collateral Outputs)
- Diffusion Pipelining
