But with the “Mallorca meets Munich” event, which last took place on June 23, the tolerance of the local residents was apparently overstretched. In any case, a number of noise complaints have been received from members of the Sendling-Westpark district committee, among others. Namely from Rottenbucher Straße, but also from more distant areas of the city district. Some BA members were themselves witnesses to the break without a break at the rose garden in the West Park, including the chairman Günter Keller (SPD). “It had nothing to do with classic beer garden music,” he said. The complaints “from large parts of the district” are now to be passed on to the district administration department. This authority is responsible for approving festivals and other major events.
