There is a fire in the Bavarian western town of “Pullman City”: In the morning, several buildings burst into flames for reasons that are still unclear. The police initially did not know anything about anyone injured.

In the attraction Western town “Pullman City” in Eging am See (Passau district), several buildings went up in flames on Sunday morning. The police initially did not know anything about anyone injured. According to initial estimates, the damage was worth millions. The cause of fire was unclear for the moment.

“The fire was discovered by employees around 6 a.m.,” said a police spokeswoman. “They tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher. But that didn’t work.” The guests of a hotel on the area were then brought to safety.

Fire in Pullman City not yet extinguished

“The fire has not yet been extinguished,” said the police spokeswoman at around 9:00 a.m. She does not assume that the amusement park for cowboy fans in the Bavarian Forest will not open on Sunday as planned.

According to previous findings, several wooden buildings such as saloons burned along the so-called Main Street. According to police, some of the affected houses could possibly be burned down in a controlled manner.

According to the website, a family day was planned at the amusement park on Sunday with Wild West, magic and light shows. Depending on the weather, there are pony rides there. Children can visit a small animal enclosure and meet the Ice Princess, Snow White and Co. in the western town. The park could not initially be reached by telephone.
