Westendorf – tractor tour ended early – Bavaria

The camping tour with two tractors and a construction trailer ended prematurely because of a police operation in the Allgäu. Two 16-year-old teenagers from Kaufbeuren had set off with old tractors and two trailers for a planned 18-hour drive to Würzburg. But the police stopped the enterprising youth on Tuesday near Westendorf in Ostallgäu on a country road at the beginning of the tour, as the officials reported on Wednesday. The 16-year-olds had driving licenses for the tractors, but they are only allowed to drive the tractor for agricultural or forestry purposes. As the police reported, the misappropriation of the tractors also led to violations of registration and tax law. Actually, the young people wanted to camp in Lower Franconia.

An old fire trailer was converted into a camper for this purpose.
