What good is the new shrill comedy freak show by Rammstein singer Till Lindemann and the Circus Flic Flac? A tent visit.
Should you leave or stay? The “Comedy Freak Show”, which is performed in the black and yellow striped tent of the Circus Flic Flac on the central fairground in Berlin, has not lasted twenty minutes when this question arises for the first time. Certainly not everyone in the Chapiteau. Many of the approximately 1,300 spectators, mostly dressed in black, hoot and celebrate the jokes at the expense of climate activists, gays, Jews, Turks, other minorities and supposedly over-correct people, which a man with a spiky hairstyle is currently performing in the ring. But some spectators really go out, get a beer, or further into the spring evening – and even before Till Lindemann’s circus show has really started.
