Another flight accident occurred in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. The small plane of a 52-year-old pilot touched down shortly before the runway and overturned for an unexplained cause, as the police announced on Monday evening.
The pilot and the 60-year-old co-pilot were able to free themselves from the damaged aircraft. Both inmates were hospitalized with injuries. A week earlier, a fatal aircraft accident had occurred at the airfield in which a 74-year-old had died.
