The organization recommends “leaving or crossing Île-de-France and major cities” from this Thursday, as soon as possible, in order to avoid saturation of the main roads the next day. If this is not possible, it is best to get behind the wheel very early, before 6am.
For motorists who have the possibility of leaving on Thursday, traffic will be very difficult in Île-de-France, classified red in the direction of departures. In addition, traffic should slow down from 2 p.m. on the A10 to Spain via Bordeaux. The same goes for the A6 and A7, which will be loaded as far as the Mediterranean from the morning.
