One of the most unpleasant discourse actors is that “we” that always forgets, ignores, has to learn “why we know so little about racism” or “why we were too kind to Kanye West”. This we has sharp contours, it is white, well cared for and quickly gets impatient. In Germany, this We is sporadically interested in racism, but of course within the limits of our own sensitivities, and better somewhere else than here.
