After an Omega weather situation brought Germany the warmest September since measurements began in 1881, the temperatures remain almost summery in many places at the start of October: “A high over Central Europe ensures calm and warm late summer weather. Only the north is influenced by weak low foothills,” writes the German Weather Service (DWD) published this on its website on Monday morning.

It will be very warm again, especially in the middle and south of the country; in places, according to the DWD, the thermometer can easily show another 30 degrees. The maps below provide an overview of expected temperatures and live weather conditions.
