Snow and slippery conditions today too – especially in the south

It remains cold: it may snow again in parts of Germany today. People in southern Germany in particular need to dress warmly.
The wintry weather continues in parts of Germany today: The German Weather Service (DWD) expects snow again Smoothness – especially in the south. There is persistent snowfall on the edge of the Alps, rain is to be expected from the High Rhine to eastern Bavaria, and snow is expected from altitudes of 800 meters.
In principle, the DWD warns against locally slippery conditions caused by snow or freezing wet conditions. There will also be widespread frost, mainly in the morning, with temperatures as low as minus ten degrees. In most parts of the country it will remain largely dry with changing clouds, in the middle it will even be partly sunny. The daily highs should be up to 12 degrees.
