After a few spring-like days with sunshine, low pressure influences the weather again. What do the meteorologists say about the temperatures?

The spring-like weekend with a lot of sun will be followed by clouds again in the next few days Rain. “At the start of the week on Monday and Tuesday, Deep ‘Elfi’ will take over Germany’s weather kitchen,” said Lars Kirchhübel from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. This means that precipitation is forecast again in many places. There can also be continuous rain, especially in the west and center of the republic. Eastern Germany, on the other hand, hardly suffers from the unpleasant weather. From Wednesday onwards, according to Kirchhübel, “a temporary high is expected to settle over Central Europe again”. However, it could rain again on Friday.

Since the air is initially not flowing into Germany from polar regions, but rather from the Atlantic or the western Mediterranean, temperatures remain above average for the time of year, according to the DWD. The medium and long-term model forecasts indicate this trend until the end of this month. This means that March, which has so far been around 2 to 3 degrees too warm in Germany, depending on the region, and locally up to 4 degrees, would also be “one of the months with above-average temperatures,” as it was said.
