News Weather

For your next weekend, Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9, it will be very hot over 3/4 of the country, before the storms return. You will have to think about hydrating yourself well and taking breaks on the highway if you take the car to go on vacation!

France will be bathed in subtropical air linked to the rise of an anticyclone gorged with very hot air from the Maghreb to central Europe. As a result, very hot weather is expected in France.

Generalized high heat peak on Saturday

SATURDAYthe sun will impose itself everywhere, in the middle of large cumulus clouds in the afternoon in the mountains, rarely threatening.

In the morning, we expect 14 to 24°C from the Ardennes to the shores of the Mediterranean and 30 to 35°C from north to south in the afternoon. It will be the hottest day of the weekend.

Tropical atmosphere turning stormy on Sunday

Sunday, it will continue to be very hot in an atmosphere that will become increasingly heavy. Sometimes strong thunderstorms are expected in the west and north at the end of the day due to the approach of an Atlantic disturbance. We expect 30 to 34°C in the afternoon from the Pyrenees to the eastern borders with peaks around 35 to 37°C between the valleys of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the plain of Alsace. It will be less hot in Brittany under the storms with 17 to 27°C from Brest to Rennes

Reliability that decreases on Sunday

If on Saturday, the reliability is excellent concerning the expected very hot weather, this is not the case on Sunday. Indeed, on Sunday, the Atlantic disturbance could be delayed and the high heat could continue throughout the country with highs often above 30°C.
