There is still no sign of winter weather: apart from some night frost in the northeast, it remains unusually mild.

With temperatures of up to 15 degrees and blue skies at times, the weather is Spring fever arises at the weekend – but with restrictions.

Fields of clouds are moving through in places and bringing rain, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach predicted. But the temperatures remain unusually mild, with maximum values ​​almost always in the double-digit range, as DWD meteorologist Martin Jonas explained. According to the DWD, February could be one of the warmest since records began.

This Saturday it will rain in the southeast until the afternoon. Otherwise, according to the forecast, it will remain mostly dry with varying to heavy clouds. The DWD predicts longer, friendly stretches in places in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is 6 to 11 degrees in the north, otherwise 11 to 15 degrees. At night, light frost at minus two degrees can be expected in the northeast.

According to the forecast, Sunday will be most beautiful in the southeast; once regional fog fields have cleared, it will often be pleasant. Later, high cloud fields pass through, but it remains dry. In the northwest, however, the clouds are increasingly thickening and it will rain from midday onwards. In the evening the rain arrives in the middle of Germany. The temperatures range between 5 degrees on Rügen and 15 degrees on the Upper Rhine. The new week also begins with changeable weather and temperatures between 6 degrees on Rügen and 14 degrees in Breisgau.
