Your next weekend, which begins on Friday July 14, will bring very contrasting weather between the regions, with an autumn feeling for some and a heat wave for others!

France will be between a British low pressure system and a subtropical anticyclone with clouds and some showers in the north and more sun and heat in the south.

Sun and strong heat on one side, rain on the other and very contrasting temperatures!

Friday, near the English Channel, the weather will be humid with some rain. These clouds will invade a large northwest quarter of the country during the day. Everywhere else the sun will be shining and it will be very hot in the southeast.

We expect 12 to 25°C from the Breton coasts to the shores of the Mediterranean for the minimums and between 18 and 37°C in the afternoon from the north of Cotentin to Vaucluse.

SATURDAY, a disturbance will cross the north of the country, accompanied by rain followed by variable skies. From the Pyrenees to the Center-East, the atmosphere will be stormy. In the south-east, sun and strong heat will prevail.

Temperatures will range from 12 to 25°C in the morning in Brittany on the shores of the Mediterranean and from 18°C in northern Brittany to 38°C in the Mediterranean hinterland in the afternoon.

Sunday, the situation will not change, with the continuation of contrasting weather between the north of the country under a cloudy sky with some rain and showers and the south-eastern regions under very strong heat. There will be a risk of thunderstorms between these two areas.

The temperatures will be without significant change compared to the day before, scorching in the south-east and autumnal near the English Channel.
