It will already be hot in the morning, with sunny weather across the country. Summer anticyclonic conditions continue in France. Nevertheless, on the relief of the Southern Alps, clouds will develop in the afternoon.
On the Mediterranean coast, temperatures will rise. Lows range from 12°C to 18°C on the northern half, locally 10°C to 14°C near the northern borders, from 17°C to 22°C in the south, 21°C to 25°C near the Mediterranean, explains Météo France.
During the day, the mercury will exceed 30°C over most of the territory. It will be very hot in France: 39°C in Toulouse, 39°C in Tarbes and Bordeaux, 35°C in Montpellier, 35°C in Lyon and 33°C in Paris.
The maximums vary between 30°C and 34°C from Normandy and the Hauts de France to the Grand-Est, Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Auvergne.
