Weather in Bavaria: Winter returns – Bavaria

Rain showers and snowfalls are expected in Bavaria. From Tuesday afternoon onwards it was wet at seven to 13 degrees, especially in the southwest of the Free State, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. Between five and ten centimeters of fresh snow was expected above 600 to 800 meters on the western edge of the Alps and in the Allgäu. It could be slippery there on Wednesday night.

Wet weather is also expected in Swabia and Upper Bavaria on Wednesday; above 700 to 1000 meters it is expected to snow again. In the Allgäu above 1000 meters, up to 30 centimeters of new snow is expected to fall, with temperatures reaching three degrees during the day. In the rest of Bavaria they are between five and twelve degrees. Fog and slippery conditions are expected locally on Thursday night. According to meteorologists, Thursday will start off cloudy, but it will clear up to seven to 13 degrees as the day progresses.
