It is getting significantly cooler in Germany. Only single-digit lows are expected on Sunday night. What’s next at the start of the new week?

The summery October weather is over for now. After a cold front Crossing Germany from northwest to southeast with showery and locally thundery rain on Saturday, it will be significantly cooler, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach. Only single-digit lows are expected on Sunday night.

On Sunday a maximum of 15 degrees is expected in the south of the Upper Rhine (after last Friday it was around 30 degrees) – and in the northern half windy and cool showery weather. “Autumn is taking full effect,” said DWD meteorologist Marcel Schmid. There could be air frost in some areas on Monday night.

According to the DWD, weather conditions are calming down at the beginning of the new week, with highs mostly below 15 degrees. According to the information, things remain slightly changeable around the coasts.
