For this last day of June, the temperatures drop everywhere and we finally breathe, after the storms which still burst on the Alps.

To remember :


– Violent thunderstorms are still present in the center-east, especially in the Alps.


– Mistral and tramontana blow to the south-east


– General drop in temperatures, especially in the west.


Evolution compared to the day before:


The drop in temperatures is the most striking parameter of this day. We breathe much better, from the morning in the west. Even in the southeast, after the storms have passed, temperatures return to a less stifling level thanks to the wind. Beware, also, of the sustained thunderstorms which burst especially this morning in the north of Corsica and the sustained rains near the Alps and in the Rhône valley where the accumulations are abundant.




Details by region:


To the northwest, of the Brittany to Country of the Loirand at the Normandy, the weather is variable with beautiful clearings. However, during the afternoon, the sky covered over Brittany as a new disturbance approached. It will rain lightly in the late afternoon. The morning freshness is quite noticeable.


Min T°C: 10 to 15°C / Max T°C: 16 to 20°C


For the central regions, from Poitou to the Center and the Paris basin, the weather is quite variable with beautiful clearings. The morning freshness is noticeable, then, in the afternoon, it is relatively cool compared to the last few weeks, but the feeling is quite pleasant.


Min T°C: 14 to 16°C / Max T°C: 23 to 25°C


In Hauts-de-France and the northeast, variable weather prevails with sunny spells and cloudy periods. A relative freshness is present, which contrasts with the heavy weather of this Thursday.

At the South West, the weather remains very cloudy south of the Garonne, over the Pyrenees and towards the Tarn and Aveyron. A few showers still occur. On the other hand, north of the Garonne, clearings alternate with clouds and it is much cooler.

From Alsace to the Jura, the weather remains threatening after overnight thunderstorms and temperatures are dropping. Showers still occur, especially in the morning.

In the center-east, Auvergne emerges with variable and cooler weather, but the Alps are subject to strong storms with abundant cumulative rainfall throughout the morning, especially in Isère and Savoies. Watch out for runoff on mountain roads. The trend towards calm is emerging in the afternoon.

At the South-East, the weather remains very stormy in the hinterland, while the westerly wind and the north wind bring an improvement on the coast from the end of the morning. The strongest thunderstorms burst over the Southern Alps, as far as Provence. The temperatures drop after these days of high heat, and we finally breathe.
